For those of you new to neighborhood block parties, here's a little history: Each first Tuesday in October, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., neighbors gather for block parties (or parties at a nearby parks, pools, golf courses, etc) to celebrate safe streets, and community unity against crime. In fact, the effort is done across the nation (and military bases across the world), so millions of people are hosting block parties! In Montgomery County, deputies visit as many block parties as our fleet and staffing allows!
Details, details! When you register below, be sure to give us some details about your plans, such as contests, live bands, and the number of people attending. Constable Rowdy Hayden enjoys attending the out-of-the-ordinary parties where he can meet and speak with lots of neighbors. So give us the inside scoop on your activities, and you may find he attends your block party!
First-timer? You are highly encouraged and always welcome to have a block party. If you need a few ideas, please contact us!
And, one more reminder: Please take our advise about registering early if you want a visit from the Pct. 4 Constable's Office. We do our absolute best to get to all the parties that request our participation, please keep us apprised of any changes in location or time.
All registrations must be done online using the form below or contacting the Pct. 4 Community Resource Division
